Opioid induced constipation

Hi, HER2 low er+/pr+ here.

Hoping not to be a downer for everyone today. Looking for advice from people who have gone thru opiod constipation. How did you handle it? Were you at least able to get improve any issues? What kind of med course did you follow?

My constipation became severe quickly. Edit: As a reult I cant keep any food down, Ive been vomiting up almost all my meds and can only eat or drink by sucking very slowly on the fluids. The Docs are trying different things to improve.

Im the meantime my family and I have decided to prepare for end of life scenarios now. If we can't get things moving my body will continue to shut down.

So advise from anyone who has been thru this part or is currently going thru is greatly appreciated ❤️

Much love and hugs to everyone in here.

Side effects on new treatment

Hi all, first time posting. First, I am discussing my questions with my Onc in the morning. Just looking for other people's experiences on the same meds.

Just finished my 3rd round of Trodelvy w/shot of Fulphila. I was wondering if any one had any upper gastric issues on these such as bloat, indigestion, sour stomach, gas?

I was on Taxol previous with no break between end and start of treatments and I had severe gastric problems on that. So Im trying to figure out what is still residual chemo effects or from the new treatment. I am getting other side effects which I know are the new treatment but I wont get into those.

So I would really love to know what your experiences are from those of you who have been on or are currently taking Trodelvy and/or Fulphila.

Thank you so much!

update: Met with Doc today and after going over the other side effects I'm experiencing, He thinks I'm having issues with the Fulphila shot and is stopping it.

I would still love to hear anyone else's experiences if there are any and thankyou to those that have replied🙏😊
