And finally, my TI collection

And finally, my TI collection

I wasn't crazy about the 83 and 84s and switched to Casio and Sharp. I bought the 86 when new and the Python only because I had a Staples gift certificate! Still want an 89.

My Casios

From a 82 to a 500. Most 300's and 991's I think. Hold on, I also have a 9750g2 and g3 somewhere. Considering a 50 or 100 now.

My Sharps

I have decided to downsize my collections. These are my Scientifics, although I have some 4-bangers and Business ones as well. I'll re-donate most duplicates to deserving thrift shops before school starts. They all work. These are the Sharps, in numerical order (obviously including many variations).

right column: 501, 503, 510, 516, 520.

middle column: 531, 532, 535, 540, 546.

left side, my EL 9200

I'll do my Casio's tomorrow, then the TI's.

Need manual for project lab

I picked up a 600 in one project lab at a thrift store. It looks like all the parts are there, but no manual. I cannot find the manual for 28-270 in the usual places online.

Kenko kk-107a

I just picked up one of these. I like these small ones like the Canon F-605G or the Casio FX-260. But my Kenko seems to be stuck in Fix-1 mode. But there is no 'fix' key like on the Canon or a 'fix' mode as on the Casio. It always shows a single decimal place. Pi displays as 3.1. But if I multiply it by a billion it displays 10 places. 1/7 displays .1 but again displays 10 places if multiplied by a billion. Of course I can ENTER any number but it is always displayed with a single decimal place. What gives? Bug or feature? How can I 'float'?

It looks like this: https://manuals.plus/asin/B01LYW60EJ except that strangely to the right of the TAB key (whatever IT does) 'tab' is reprinted, as is n! to its right. Both labels are duplicated. Otherwise I like it! Especially the clear keys and the hinged cover. Just need in un-fixed.

Addiator/slide rule

Just picked up one very much like this: https://www.sliderulemuseum.com/Archive/isrm_associates/hmd/fc%20slide%20rule%20pages/fc%20177%2063-39r/fc%20177%2063-39r.htm The adding part is in fact identical to this, but has different text in the upper and lower boxes. 'Renown' and 'Personal Calculator'. I guess there were lots of these!

On the back is a simple A B C1 C D rule. The slide does not reverse, but does have inch and millimetre scales. It's all made from the same sheet steel as the addiator to which it is riveted. Below the bottom box it says 'Made in Japan'.

It works including the reset, but of course the stylus is missing. I paid $4.50 Cdn at a thrift store.
