Toki no Tabibito: Time Stranger is an adventure game with a heavy emphasis on text commands and dialogue, similar to other NES adventure games like Portopia Serial Murder Case or Hokkaido Serial Murders: Fade to Okhotsk.

Unlike Portopia and its sequels, there is very little detective work to be done. The player simply visits important people throughout Japanese history as a time-travelling cop, answering their questions and incrementally moving forwards through time towards the present. Most of the game is depicted in a first-person mode where the other person sits across from the main character, who then asks and answers questions. There are a few third-person sequences where the player must get back inside their spaceship-like time machine before it leaves.

While there are a few branching paths depending on dialogue choices taken, the game's narrative is fairly linear.

We now have TWO English translations of this game. I PERSONALLY recommend the LaCaipirinha translation, as I feel it's done better and has a better font. Its up to you though. Both English translations have the same Title ID and Game Code so you can only have one on your system at a time. Oops. Sorry.

Terrors 2 is a interactive text-based story with accompanying images that feature the following Japanese pop stars: Risa Goto, Kaori Manabe, Erika Yamakawa, Nami Ichinohe, Yumi Uehara. The games story is one of horror slowly sneaking into a Japanese school. The plot is revealed through four scenarios. The choices you make in the story will affect the path it takes, as such there are numerous alternate ending to encourage multiple playthroughs.

Terrors 2 could connect to the internet with the WonderGate so that in-game events would take place at the same time of day that the player was experiencing. Alas, it doesn't work today so it's just wasted space. I wouldn't click it.

Ghost Sweeper Mikami: Joreishi wa Nice Body is a side-scrolling platformer where the player controls Reiko through multiple stages. Reiko is armed with a magic baton that can be used to perform several types of melee attacks. The baton can be powered up to shoot various types of projectiles, though these powerups are lost if Reiko takes any damage. It can also be used as a type of grappling hook to access certain platforms. There are also limited uses of magic attacks that hit all enemies on the screen.

• No. Non-legendaries will always cause a notification when they spawn. Legendaries will not, but all shinies, including legendaries are guaranteed to offer to join your rescue team

You play a troll set on an expedition into cavernous sewers to retrieve valuable relics. Guarding the treasure are monsters such as cretins, buzzards, skulls and spiders. The mazes are difficult to navigate and fraught with danger. One wrong move could send you plummeting to your death.

Most mazes begin with a barrage of cretins that must be dispatched in order to open the door to the main portion of the maze. Your character has a gun that is capable of turning the cretins into eggs. After shooting them, you must quickly shove the eggs into the sewer water as they will hatch back into cretins after a short time. Your gun has limited ammo, but which can be replenished in the middle of the screen.

Once the cretins have been defeated, the doors to the main portion of the maze are accessible. Here is where you will find treasures to increase your point total. The mazes require careful navigation as some treasures are placed in dangerous locations. Keys need to be recovered to open further doors allowing you to proceed to the maze's exit. Other monsters are present in this part of the maze and cannot be destroyed by your weapon. Instead, it will take careful timing and jumps to avoid being killed by them.

The game is divided into three levels which can be chosen at the start. Each level has multiple mazes to work your way through.

Joystick control is a little bit unusual. Aside from the normal left and right movement, pushing down shoots your weapon, pushing the button causes you to jump in the direction you are facing while pushing up does a vertical jump. When you move you will always move one complete step. This means you have to be careful when moving on small platforms as an extra tap on the joystick could send you off the edge. The structured movement gives the later parts of the maze a more puzzle-like feel than a straight action game.

Wizard is a puzzle game with arcade action elements. The premise of the game is to run around the screen collecting various treasures for points, avoiding monsters. The player character must find the key, which gives him the ability to cast magic spells such as fireballs or teleportation, and also unlocks the exit to the next level. Each level takes up the full screen and has its own unique hazards, such as arrows which transport the protagonist quickly, and blocks which are removed when stepped on. The game features six difficulty and nine speed settings. A level designer is included.

The Game and level creator utility would later be upgraded and reworked into Wizard Ultimate and additional levels would be released in Wizard Expert and other related titles.
