Why hello there, fellow travelers,
I usually stick to comment sections rather than being an OP, so forgive me if I sound a little awkward.
I'm an Honours psychology student, and I've been playing gacha games for just over 6 years now. When it came time to pick a thesis topic, Gacha seemed like an interesting choice to explore.
My project looks at how players experience, and to a lesser extent, engage with spending on limited-time banners — specifically how social and behavioural constructs, such as Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), feed into overspending, regret, and that feeling of not being able to stop pulling.
I would really appreciate your help filling it out.

To be eligible, you need to be 18 to 35 years old, have played gacha games in the past 6 months, and have spent real money on Genshin (or any gacha title) in that time.
Completion time ranges from 10 to 20 minutes and covers some basic demographic questions, your gacha gaming habits, and your experiences with spending and pulling on limited banners.
No personal information, such as emails, is collected.
