BCBAs — would this be enough to make you leave a company you otherwise really like?
I've been with my company for about 3 years and have genuinely had a great experience overall, so I'm really torn.
I recently discovered discrepancies in an RBT's session note after I had already signed the note. I escalated it internally in writing, stated that I couldn't verify the service as documented, and stated that I did not feel comfortable providing supervision to the RBT any longer. I specifically requested that the RBT be removed from the case due to documentation concerns. QA reviewed it but ultimately billed the session anyway and decided to transition me off the case instead of the RBT.
I'm uncomfortable with a service being billed under my supervision that I know did not occur as documented, especially after I explicitly stated I did not feel comfortable signing off on future notes. Would this be enough to make you leave an otherwise good company, or would you consider the internal escalation sufficient and move forward?
