my ferritin dance between 15 and 62. I finally saw a hematologist. He tested all my inflammation markers and they came back negative. at the time my iron was 102 and ferritin was 62 saturation 32 basically all my numbers were moving in the right direction. 32 days before that my ferritin was 29. Now 37 days after the test it got to 62 I’m back down to 34 however iron still holding at 109. the thing is when it was 62 I could feel it. Like I was feeling better. but then came the shortness of breath the last two days so I get tested and here we are.
it appears I dont have any inflammation I take my ferrous sulfate 325mg at night several hours after I’ve had nothing to eat far away from coffee and I take it with 500-1000mg of vitamin c and yet its been like this for 2 years. Hemoglobin 14.5
what am I doing wrong?? Why does it keep dipping. Im pretty sure my cause is my periods. I just can’t STAND this brain fog and physical fatigue and idk what do fucking do anymore
