Hopeless Future and Eternal Debt
I feel like I have ruined my life. I’m 30 (M) and recently graduated from a tier 2 law school. I graduated at the bottom of my class and have no job prospects so I’ve been doing criminal defense cases from the state. Every hearing is anxiety inducing but I don’t have any other options. I owe almost 30k in credit card debt and have about 300k in student loans. I’m also far away from home but I am not licensed to practice anywhere other than where I’m at.
I regret so much, and I don’t know what to do. Jobs always require experience I don’t have and no one seems to be hiring. I always thought a law degree would be a path toward success but it has been the worse decision I’ve ever made and I’ll likely have to pay debt for the rest of my life. I don’t know what to do. I’ve been experiencing suicide ideation and have been stuck in indecision as well. I just want to be home and not have this debt weighing over my ever decision.
