I need your best "parents are in town" recommendations!

My parents (early 60s) are visiting August 18-22, and I'd love ideas beyond the obvious. They're not fit to be doing hikes (too hot for that anyway), but they enjoy antique stores, history, interactive experiences, shopping, and discovering new places.

So far, I'm thinking MIM, a pottery class, and maybe a Sedona day trip. What are your favorite indoor, low-key, or uniquely things to do in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area?

And if you have any must-do Sedona recommendations (restaurants, shops, or easy activities) I'd love those too! I've only lived here for about a year, so I'm still discovering all the gems myself

Are train and ferry tickets available for advance purchase? Florence to Lucca to Bellagio

I struggle with the logistics of getting around countries I've never been to, so please give me grace! To break down the itinerary, we'll be flying into Florence and need to immediately go to Lucca on arrival as we are attending a welcome party for a wedding. Three days later, we'll be heading to Bellagio in Lake Como for a few leisure days - I've noticed that we'll need to take a train and ferry to get there..That's no problem. However, there's no where online that I've been able to find to purchase tickets for the train/ferry, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Before I continue going down the rabbit hole of trying to research the rest of the trip's ground transportation, can anyone provide advice on getting to and from each location? Florence (arriving to FLR) > Lucca > Bellagio > Milan (departing from MXP); traveling mid-to-end of July 2026.

I appreciate you...also, any advice, ideas, or tips for things to do in Bellagio is greatly appreciated!
