Project change is it possible ?
Hey guys, I’m looking for some advice.
It’s been around 3 months since I joined TCS and this project, and honestly, I’m feeling quite frustrated with the situation.
There’s very little learning or meaningful work happening in my current project. Whenever I try to suggest improvements or take up something that could help me learn, there doesn’t seem to be much encouragement or support.
Day by day, I’m getting more stressed because I feel like I’m not growing professionally and that this experience isn’t really going to add much value to my career in the long run.
I’m considering talking to my manager and asking for a release from the project so I can look for something more aligned with my career goals.
For those who have experience working in TCS:
Is asking for a project release after 3 months a reasonable thing to do?
How should I approach the conversation with my manager?
Could asking for a release negatively affect my career within the company?
