I've always been installing darktable on my Fedora Linux machine via KDE's Discover from Flathub. However, I'm noticing that the AI features aren't available there. Is anyone else having this problem?
I'm not a dub watcher but sometimes I take a listen just to see if I should re-evaluate my opinion on dubs. I switched to the English dub on Witch Hat Atelier and I just can't get over the fake accent.
I'm not a native English speaker and I can still tell Qifrey is very clearly an American guy trying to put on an accent. It's genuinely distracting to me. It's such an unforced error, too. From what I can tell, all characters I've seen so far have a standard Tokyo dialect in the Japanese dub (correct me if I'm wrong), so why go for different ones in the English dub?
Even if the original dub had different accents, I'd rather the American voice actors stick to their native American accent than put on bad fake accents. If they absolutely have to go for different accents, why not hire native voice actors? Is it a network thing?
Genuinely trying to understand the rationale here.
