Analysis

Analysis

I am going in for my 3-month follow-up appointment in a few days. Overall, I feel like my therapy has been going well. I have been using and SD card an uploading to Sleep HQ, but I don't really know how to analyze it. I am hoping for some advice/analysis so that I can go to that appointment more knowledgeable and more specifically if there is something I should ask my provider about.

I use a Resmed AirSense 11 with an N30i mask (although I have experimented with a couple other masks or cushions). Probably ignore the data from 8/16, as I had an abnormally high leak rate that day - time to replace my cushion. https://sleephq.com/public/teams/share_links/c1008e98-9779-49c8-951d-bf14f14326f9

Thanks!

Mask guidance

New user here - to both Reddit and Cpap, so advice welcome.

I started Cpap therapy on Monday, and it’s going well. I have a Resmed Airsense 11 and an n30i mask. My “MyAir” usage, seal, and events scores are all excellent. I can’t say that I am sleeping great, but I hope that will come as I get used to it.

While my seal is good, I get annoyed with the cushion on my nose! It itches the outsides of my nostrils, and I think I might like to try a different cushion to see if something is better. Does the p30i wrap up around the outside of the nose? Is it more annoying to have the cushion inside the nostrils? Is the sizing the same as the n30i? I’m also wondering about the n30i ComfiSoft - would that be less itchy?

My mask off score is what needs work, and I think the problem is a combination of it itches so I pop it off scratch, and I prefer to sleep on my stomach/side which sometimes bumps it out of place. Maybe I need a bed pillow with a cutout for the mask.
