First Keyboard Build!
Just wanted to share my first build.
Sorry for not the greatest pictures, I'm no photographer haha.
Had a blast researching and building it, feel like this gonna be a new big hobby for me.
Shout out to OZO Keyboards for for the parts and quick delivery! Thanks for the freebies that came with the order too!
For those interested my parts are:
Keydous NJ98 Custom Barebones Kit (Nova White/ Brass Plate)
Refraction Side-Engraved Keycap Set
KeyGeek XLLAB Peach Butt Linear Switches
I'm loving using it, the keyboard itself feels really nice and premium. It's quite weighty which I like. RGB is nice and bright.
The software is easy enough to use. Love the little screen, it has a useful utility function and gives you the ability to add a custom touch to your keyboard with a picture or animation.
The keycaps might just be my favourite thing, in a dark room they look so good. The light fills the caps really nicely. They feel really pleasant on the fingers, smooth but also grippy.
The switches feel amazing, but I would expect that as I've only ever used standard gaming keyboards. It's such an elevated experience, I now enjoy typing. It feels like typing on cloud.
The sound is a hard one for me to explain, but it's a really deep sound and very pleasing to the ears. Not the usually clicking and clacking, just a deep, pleasant and rich sound.
I'm really looking forward into diving deeper into the hobby and getting more knowledgeable about it.
Thanks for reading, feel free to throw some tips and advice on the post, I welcome it all.
Hope you all have a good day!
