I'm an only child and I want to be a cop, so naturally my mom is going to absolutely lose her mind and freak out when I tell her. I want to get a bunch of different perspectives from people on how dangerous they think the job REALLY is.

10 would be people pulling weapons on you, attacking you, all the things that would make it onto the news. 1 would be literally sitting around all day. I don't care if you're big city, small town, sheriff's department, etc. I just want a general picture on what you think
