Cutting down on AMC cheating seems easy to me; can someone explain what exactly is making it so hard for MAA?

I'm concerned about why MAA doesn't try to reduce cheating since there are many tiny measures that all serve to cut down cheating.

  1. Yes, the AMC happens across the entire world but can't exam intervals be spaced "one after the other" so that the entire testing process happens within a single day?
  2. Just like most competitive exams, it should be required to submit phones/thoroughly check exam givers for any devices on them, and the test center should provide the working material and bringing your own material shouldn't be allowed anymore.
  3. Another kind of cheating I've seen on the AMC is that test centers are often these tutoring agencies that themselves offer AMC prep classes; their teachers provide the students studying at their center more time/help on the test so that their results stand out to increase sales. To stop this AMC should be held at local universities instead of any educational institution that choses to apply, and it should be illegal for the test center to be affiliated with AMC tutoring.
  4. Also, why in the world is the AMC still done on paper? Make it digital? That alone will remove the problem of getting more than 75 minutes to solve the paper.
  5. For international students in particular, T20's can simply consider it a "red flag" if a student does great on the AMC but struggles in their local selection tests.
  6. Maybe a bit controversial; but AMC should review camera recordings of test centers that have abnormally high scores, and camera based monitoring of the exam should be made compulsory.

All these measures are so easy to implement and make the entire process so much more fair. I'm open to literally any constructive criticism explaining why these measures are in fact not possible/effective.
