Bay Area Perfumers?

I live in the bay area and am looking for other people who share this hobby so we can give feedback and compare notes. Are there any groups or organizations that offer this kind of community? Also if you live in the bay and want to talk about perfume, feel free to DM me.

Improving Fig Accord and Reducing Screechy Charachter

I am making this perfume centered around bergamot and fig. My formula is below. Currently, I feel there is a harshness that needs to be rounded out. I was thinking about adding civet or ambrettolide to bring in some warmth, and perhaps increasing the ethylene brassylate. I know that Stemone is probably too high, and for my next iteration, I am planning on decreasing it. However, I would like to maintain a strong fig character, so I am also hoping to get suggestions for other materials that could help build the fig accord.
Iso E Super 22.72%

Hedione 22.72%

Ambroxan 12.50%

Bergamote 12.50%

Ethylene Brassylate 11.36%

Galaxolide 5.23%

Cedramber 5.00%

Methyl Ionone Gamma 3.18%

Stemone 2.27%

Dihydro Beta Ionone 0.64%

Oakmoss 0.34%

Vetiver 0.27%

Aldehyde C-11 0.05%

Aldehyde C-7 0.04%

Aldehyde C-12 0.04%

Birch Tar 0.09%

Edit: I am also considering adding more methyl ionone gamma, coumarin, and ambrettolide. What do you think about % for those materials?

Journey to the center of a planet to look for the “midnight sun”

This was a book I read as a child in ~2010. It was my moms so it was older than that I would guess pre 2000 but I am unsure. It was a large book like a coffee table book and the plot was about a man that landed on a new planet and went on a journey inside. As he descended into the world, he walked down large staircases and met a demon. Eventually he finds a glowing orb that I think was called the midnight sun, but I’m not certain about the name. Importantly, the text was minimal and the book was mostly illustration.
