Are tangible assets like gold and art still relevant in a digital investment world?

With everything becoming more digital especially with the rise of crypto and online investment platforms I’ve been wondering where traditional tangible assets stand today.

Gold, silver, and even art have been around as stores of value for centuries, but do they still make sense in a modern portfolio? They don’t generate income like some other investments, and in the case of art, valuation can feel very subjective.

At the same time, there’s something psychologically reassuring about owning a physical asset. It’s not just numbers on a screen.

So do you think tangible assets still have a meaningful place in today’s investment strategies, or are they slowly becoming outdated compared to more modern alternatives?
