Other games in the New World
Throwing this out here to maybe get some more insight from Light Novel readers and more people who might not be in the other Overlord subreddit.
So kinda related to the series after I finished the anime for the fourth time now. I love the premise the series has and it got me thinking, what real-life games could be thrown into the situation Ainz was thrown in and how would they turn out? Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure YGGDRASIL was inspired by World of Warcraft, but what other games would you like to see? I’m partial to survival games like Ark that have a level system, which obviously scales nowhere near YGGDRASIL, and technology that would let players close the gap. This could be anything, TTRPGs, video games, board games, I just wanna hear people’s thoughts on this. Would they even follow a similar route or just do their own thing?
