Pressure in joint 5 weeks post dislocation

So as the title says I’ve been having so much joint pressure if I try any movement, week 5 in a sling post dislocation. No surgery, torn labrum.
Every time I try to do a simple pendulum it feels so unstable and so much pressure in the joint. It sucks because I can’t move in the joint at all and have been 5 weeks immobilized so far. Anyone have experience with this?

My ortho said 6 weeks total in sling. I’m just worried about my 0 progress.

Shoulder dislocation with labrum tear, no surgery. healing question.

Hi guys, I have a question. I want to see what anyone else has gone through this type of healing or situation.

I dislocated my shoulder 6/4, it was out about 30 min before it got reduced in the ER. (Second dislocation, my first was in 2017)
Got an MRI a few weeks after and it came back that I have a “large” labrum tear, a sprained tendon, bankart, hill-sach lesion.

Went back to the ortho for a follow up this week and he said the tear is “small” even though MRI said large, he said with my age (30s) and how long I went between dislocations I would be better to heal conservatively and just try physical therapy. And 3 additional weeks to be immobilized since I have some numbness still in my upper arm and thumb (6 weeks total in sling)

Has anyone else healed with only physical therapy?
How long did it take to get some ROM back?
Did you have any lingering numbness?

My ROM is not great, I can barely get past 0 degree external rotation. And I tried isometrics but it feels not great in the joint to do that yet (week 3 of healing)

Thank you!!!
