It is the 75th anniversary of IIT Kharagpur's foundation. The chief guests are to inaugurate infrastructure around the campus, among which the bus stop shown in the photo is one. Due to the arrival of dignitaries , the administration decided to paint the curb on which the bus stop stands. This photograph is a representation of how IIT Kharagpur functions. Notice that only the curb upon which the bus stand sits is painted, and absolutely nothing else is. On the right is how the world sees IITs, on left is what IIT truly is
