Using AP Credit for Biology and Statistics?
I am currently trying to plan out my course schedule and would love some advice. I am registered to take the first semester of introductory biology with lab, but I would like to use my AP credit to skip out of the second semester (the course doesn't seem as relevant to medicine and the MCAT). I would replace the second semester of introductory biology with cell biology, but the cell biology class doesn't have a corresponding lab, and based on my major and degree plan, it is possible I won't be able to take any more biology courses beyond this. Would this be an issue, and should I just take the second semester of intro bio? Also, do medical schools require upper level biology courses?
Another question: would it be better to use my AP credit to skip introductory statistics and take statistics for biology instead?
Thanks for all the input!
