First timer
It was our first time at the festival. So many artists I was excited to see and after giving up my opportunity to go last year, I was really set on not missing this year.
It was a magical weekend, we stayed in an Airbnb, parked in Newport and biked in.
Some of my favorite moments were:
Angine, eating ice cream and watching little simz,laying down to rest and listening to snarky puppy, witnessing Gary Clarke Jr.’s swagger, Joshua redman, Ari Lennox’s singing “I wanna live here” (like yeah girl, me fucking too), just seeing how happy all the volunteers were, the general calm peaceful vibe the festival offered, the beautiful weather, the hand washing stations, biking in and out, the Newport restaurants….
This experience was such a privilege and I’ll forever be grateful for 0% APR.
Really hope it isn’t my last time at jazz fest but even if it were, I’d be perfectly happy. What a great lineup.
