PSA - Lorazapam was causing my insomnia.

My doctor prescribed me low dose of Lorazapam about 20+ years ago. Yes, I took it every single night. My doctor is very conservative (interesting since I learned via my own research that these medications can cause serious issues in memory, especially in older people). Having learned of the dangers of long term use, I was in a panic. My insomnia was out of control, so the last thing I wanted to do is take away the medication that was intended to help me sleep, but the fear of long term consequences was even worse. I decided to taper off and guess what, my insomnia is gone. No, I don’t sleep like I did as a young child, but I definitely don’t have insomnia anymore.

Desperately Seeking a System!

Background: I have a long list of medical issues with my skin which require me to have a ton of creams, ointment and special products. Some I use daily, and other I use as needed. Additionally, I have a whole lot of Rx meds in pill form.

Issue: I live between 2 houses and need to travel with EVERYTHING. I can’t get duplicates of most items because they are either Rx (so I can only get 1 at a time). I’d like everything to be easy to find, easy to transport by car, and stored in a way I can access them easily. I have minimal space at one of the locations, so I’d like to have them stored vertically on wheels, perhaps?

Last, it’s a nightmare keeping track of these meds. The tubes don’t come with instructions (the label is affixed to the outer box) and all the tubes look alike. How to keep track of everything?!

Total chaos!!!

Any and all suggestions would be so appreciated.
