I grabbed this lil guy last year on a whim since it was on the clearance rack. I’ve never cared for one before so I figured why not 🤷‍♀️ I set him up under a bright light and left him alone and over the winter he began to split, but also lost like half his total volume. I genuinely thought it was dead so I picked at the outer leaves and lo and behold there’s still green underneath.

I’m seeing that he’s looking a bit wrinkly, is it time to water? I’ve heard they’re super sensitive to overwatering and I just want to make sure now is the time.

I got her last year when I moved in to my apartment. Since then, in true cactus form, she’s done a whole lotta nothing… until a few weeks ago. Now she has a fuzzy clump growing on her crown. Is this an inflorecense or a new pup? I’m super excited that she’s showing signs of life either way.
