Caleb is a complex character, both emotionally and psychologically, as is his relationship with MC, and that’s what drew me to him. We could discuss endlessly how complicated things are between him and MC, how their relationship is based on a forbidden attraction to one another, and how their bond is built on shared trauma and suffering. We could discuss how pain, whether physical or emotional, is part of their relationship, as are patience, agonising anticipation and acceptance, but...

But sometimes... I just love his yandere tendencies... And I like how his desire to put something on MC, to sort of ‘ring’ or ‘surround’ her, even if only sometimes, manifests itself... If it makes him feel more comfortable or at ease, then why not.

(I had to rewatch "Captuve Bird" a couple of times because I kept forgetting to take a screenshot, lol XD)

Clipping really annoys me... Also, I realized that I’m sorely lacking a free camera here, and sometimes I really want to fix the collisions with the models...

What else is there to do on a day off at five in the morning? Well, yeah... this... and listening to a song that’s put me in a slightly lyrical mood "Matilda" by Dance My Darling. Before, I only associated this song with one character from a manhwa (by the way, he's a yandere too, lol)... Well, now I associate it with Caleb too.

I stumbled upon this episode of Secret Times by accident—I just saw it on YouTube and thought, “Well, I missed it anyway, so I might as well listen to it on YouTube.” It was six in the morning at work, and to say I wasn’t expecting what I heard would be an understatement... I was even less prepared for it to be the Colonel. I’d always thought that Caleb’s English voice actor was a perfect fit for him, perfectly capturing the character’s dual nature, but after listening to “Verdant Wetlands,” I became absolutely certain of it. One moment you’re listening to him in Tender Moments, joking and being affectionate with the MC, and the next you’re hearing him growl “Good girl” in your ear. At one point, while I was cleaning the house, I caught myself realizing I’d been listening to “Verdant Wetlands” on repeat for an hour without skipping a track...

I like how open this audio is to interpretation, since I’ve seen people for whom Verdant Wetlands, on the contrary, felt quite disturbing because the MC often rejects Caleb in this audio (but that doesn’t stop him) and tries to distance herself from him. Plus, we know that the Colonel makes her nervous.

And then there’s that moment where he breaks the fourth wall again, when he says, “I’m here...”

It really would be nice to have an emotion editor for facial expressions, as well as an option to change eye direction independently from head movement.

Not a day goes by without me thinking about Caleb...
