I had gestational hypertension. It didn't subside after delivery. I am currently on 60 mg of Procardia XL I have the worst facial flushing and the worst bouts of tachycardia I just got out of the ER with a heart rate of 136. Bp was great at the ER 112/72. I seem to be getting facial flushing and tachycardia 6 or 7 hours after taking procardia. Has this happened to anyone else? My face feels sun burnt, also my anxiety is horrendous right now

I am officially diagnosed with impaired glucose tolerance. The doctor said I do not meet the criteria for gestational diabetes, but that my body is having a little trouble with sugar with my pregnancy. He said this differs from gestational diabetes as I only had one elevated lab. But, they still like you to follow a low carb, low sugar diet. I am 31 weeks. Has anyone else received this diagnosis? Any tips? He's going more in depth about it at my next appointment. I am definitely feeling a bit anxious.
