Could we possibly be like the 2024 Celtics?

Firstly, thank you to the people who responded to my original post: "What's the difference between the current Spurs and the Suns in 2021 and 2022?" I loved the insight, and it definitely gave me some perspective.

Here is my next question: Are we more like the Celtics in 2022 and will win a championship in 2028 like the 2024 Celtics? Or is there a chance the magical powers of El Jefe will inspire Coach Mitch and our guys to be like the 2014 Spurs and play "The Beautiful Game"?

I know it's crazy to think, "just play like that," because the style of basketball played then and now is different, and also our team is entirely different.

So I am open to your thoughts and opinions. I apologize for the questions; it's just that I am a new NBA fan, and I am appreciating the sport more. Plus, a lot of people around me don't know basketball like that.

Spurs Jersey

I have been wanting to buy a Vassell jersey for a while, but the only thing stopping me is, what if he gets traded or something?

To those who have Spurs player jerseys, in the long run, is it worth it?

What is the difference between the current Spurs and the Suns in 2021 and 2022?

I know the Suns lost in the finals against Bucks. Then they made it all the way back to WC Semis and lost that to the Mavs in game 7. As someone with minimal ball knowledge what are the chances that we don't end up in a similar situation.

Going solely based on our current moves:

Signing Tobias Harris to a 2-year deal.

Billy Donovan as assistant coach.

Re-signing Barnes, McLaughlin, DJG, and Champagnie.

Our draft picks: Reed Jr, Brown, Gillespie, and Quaintance.

I personally believe the team will have a 2014 comeback. But to those who have a better ball knowledge and game knowledge (i don't know how else to phrase it) do you think we have a chance?
