Foreign Content Creator in India: How to Find Indian Brand Collaborations & Creator Opportunities?
Hey everyone 👋
I’m a Brazilian content creator and have been creating content for around 3 years, mainly on YouTube and Instagram. My YouTube channel is monetised with 13K+ subscribers.
I’ll be spending around 6–7 months travelling through Asia, including India, and I’m hoping to explore content creation more seriously during the trip.
A big area I’m interested in is Indian culture, Hinduism, spirituality and traditions, particularly from the perspective of a Brazilian experiencing and learning about them.
I’d love to hear from people here who have experience with the Indian creator ecosystem:
• How do foreign creators usually connect with Indian brands and agencies?
• Are there any creator communities, platforms or networking events worth joining?
• Do Indian brands generally work with international creators?
• Any advice on building genuine connections with the Indian media/creator industry?
I’m not looking for anything specific at this stage. Just trying to understand the ecosystem and meet people who might be able to share some experience or advice.
