Driving in Fairbanks in December HELP
I am from Florida so I have no experience with driving in snow but I will be going to Fairbanks in December to see Northern Lights. I don't like to use uber or rideshare apps so I always get rental cars from airport. I am renting a car because my hotel is downtown and i heard the public transport system isn't the best in the city but there is a mall close by i want to visit to eat at places I have on my food list. I could walk there as it says its a 22 min walk but not sure if that will be doable in the winter so I will be using rental car to get around. I am doing a tour where they will come pick me up so I will only need rental car to get from airport to hotel, around downtown, and back to the airport. I am NERVOUS as I know nothing about driving in winter conditions. Any recommendations??!!?!
