What appeals people about the corps over the reg?
Seems like more people apply for the corps over the reg is there any particular reasoning? Because from my understanding both have respect for each other and say they are just as good as each other in their respective fields.
Seems more recently the corps have turned a corner and are going down their commando roots again whereas the reg were talking about taking away parachuting for a whole battalion if I am correct (which is no longer happening). Although I have heard from guys I know in the corps who have said right now the corps is dry and crap and the worst it’s been for a while. Whereas when you speak to the guys in the reg or former reg they have said there’s so much going on right now it’s busy and ally as fuck right now etc etc.
What’s actually the dits on the both right now? Who’s doing the ally stuff, who’s getting about more and why are people actually apply for the corps a lot more than the reg?
