Transplant Shock? IDK what happened!

Good Afternoon!

I’m not new to growing banana plants but I am new to the musa nono, so hopefully someone can help me. Last night I repotted two of my momma plants, removing a sword pup from each. They seemed fine this morning but since about 10 am, they have been fading fast. I put them in organic potting soil 50%, peat moss 25%, and compost (black kow) 25%. Watered them deeply- and I have no idea what’s happening. Zone 8b, central Mississippi, they are in pots because they won’t overwinter in ground here. We are in a heat wave- 100+ degrees, but that’s why I add peat moss, and top of soil isn’t totally dry.

This is typical treatment for all of my banana tress- but I’ve never had them wilt before my eyes. Is this transplant shock, musa style? I’ve seen it in my rare houseplants but my musas are my hardy plants. What should I do?

I don’t think it’s the level of sun because you’ll see they aren’t getting the same level of color/sun stress they previously had (so I have lower variegation on new leaves).

Help! I really don’t want to lose these! I’m gonna hold off on repotting my other two until I understand what is happening here.
