I am trying to find a choose your own adventure book from when I was younger. I remember having it in the early 2000s. I remember the main character was a child set in China and the main plot was over Jiangshi (Hopping Vampires). They would put talismans over the dead's faces and the child was warned not to touch them. He got curious though and walked into a shed one day to find the bodies with talismans standing upright not moving. I then believe he accidentally bumped into one and didnt notice the talisman fall off. The story then went on about the jianshi getting loose and practically massacring the village.

The book was fully colored and was like a comic book but was the kind without any puzzles. It was basically "if you (do this thing) - turn to page 21."

I just remembered about the Twisted Journey books I used to read but it appears its not in that collection my knowledge but I remember it being similar.

If anybody remembers or might be able to lead me to this book, you'll pretty much make my whole year
