Hi everyone! I’m moving to Terre Haute for work at Union Hospital and will be staying at Riverfront Lofts. The hospital is only about 1.4 miles away, so I’m considering getting a bicycle and biking to work.
I’m currently building my credit history in the US, so I won’t be able to get a car right away. I would only be biking during the daytime, mainly for my work commute.
For people familiar with Terre Haute, is this route generally safe for biking during the day? Are there any particular roads or areas along the way that I should avoid?

Hi everyone,

My hospital’s immigration attorney informed me that my H-1B petition has already been prepared and sent to the hospital for final signature about a month ago, but there haven’t been any updates since then.

Has anyone experienced a similar delay at the “awaiting final signature” stage? Did your employer eventually move forward with filing, or can delays at this stage sometimes mean they may reconsider the process?

Would really appreciate hearing others’ experiences. Thanks!
