From a frightened mill momma to a happy loved family dog.

Nadie came to us in January 2024. Today she loved walks, “chats” with her family, has a dog and cat sibling, and greets her favorite human with a tail that spins like a propeller.
This is why we never give up on them🤎🖤🤍

Another beautiful reminder that healing takes time 🤎🖤🤍 Three months ago, Lindsey arrived terrified and unsure of the world around her. Now, she’s spending time relaxing in the living room, feeling safe enough to simply exist without fear.

Her adopter shared: “Lindsey is spending time in the living room now which is very exciting. She didn’t even look nervous when I took her picture.” It may seem like something small to some people, but for a shut down mill momma learning to trust, this is huge. Thank you, Gail, for giving Lindsey the patience, love, and safe place she needed to finally start coming out of her shell.

Rocky came to us just a couple of weeks ago severely underweight. His body condition score was around a 2–3, with 1 being the most critical.

To help him gain weight safely, he’s been getting three smaller meals a day, and we’re already seeing great improvement.

He came in at about 62 pounds, with a goal of 80+ ahead of him. It’s going to take time, but he’s on the right path and doing it with the sweetest, happiest personality.
