I got a job offer in Tainan City. The company is located in Annan District, at No. 88, Gongye 5th Road (工業五路88號), within Tainan Industrial Park. Which place or neighbourhood will be suitable for me to live in? Here are the few things to consider -

1. I am not planning to buy a car immediately. Mostly, I would like to commute by Scooter or public bus. I don't mind 30-40 mins commuting every day.

2. I will be moving with my wife so a good neighbourhood with supermakets, cafes, restaurants and bit of culture is preferred.

3. Do you think NT150,000/month is a good salary to stay comfortably and save a bit in Tainan?

4. Is it really difficult to live without knowing Mandarin?
