Follow Up Question
Hi, I recently went to one of my first networking events with recruiters, and I fortunately managed to connect with quite a few representatives during the events. I wanted to follow up within 24 hours, especially since a few of them discussed referring me to another person within their company. However, my requests are still pending and I am unable to message them unless I have premium. I believe I have to wait until they accept my request, but given the amount of people who attended the event, I am worried I will not ever get to follow up, let alone within the next 24 hours. I’m wondering if there is still a way to another way I should go about this— should I revoke my request and wait a week to send a new request with a note? Should I try to email them if they have included a contact on their LinkedIn? Is there another method I am missing? Moreover, for next time, should I try to just write down their names and then connect with a note on LinkedIn afterwards?
