Hi everyone, I’m five days post tummy tuck. I went to the bathroom yesterday and Monday but today I’ve been trying to go for four hours. It’s so painful and stuck. I tried to take rectal laxative an hour ago and it hasn’t done anything and I’m afraid to push because of my muscle repair. What do I do? Someone please help me???
Hey everyone! Sharing my day 3 post-op update. I had a drainless tummy tuck and flank liposuction on Friday, and today was my first post-op appointment.
The Experience: My surgeon's team said I'm healing nicely and cleared me to start being more independent. This is also the first time I've been cleared to shower and see my full stomach without heavy gauze.
The Emotions: It is so emotional to see my stomach without the loose skin hanging over, and to actually have a button under the gauze instead of hidden away.
Media: I don't have my on-the-table photos yet because the videographer has them, but I asked my surgeon to help me get them sent over.
Looking Ahead: I know I'm quite swollen right now, but I'm really hoping the results will only get better as the weeks go on! I feel really wide right now.
Quick question: Does anyone have recommendations for ordering an extra binder? My surgeon said I only need to wear mine for three weeks, but I want a backup to wear while my main one is washing and drying.

I am getting a tummy tuck with lip to the flanks this coming Friday (August 14). I am kinda nervous and feel unprepared! Can you guys by any chance list any must haves for post surgery? I live in an apartment so unfortunately not going to be able to commit to a reclining chair!
