How did prehistoric people deal with hurricanes?
Humans have lived in florida and the philippines for a long time. Hurricanes are a regular occurrence for these parts of the world. What did these ancient humans do to survive: did they seek high ground, build a shelter, find a cave, etc? Were hurricanes simply less fatal than now because of modern reliance on fragile infrastructure and supply chains such as electricity and grocery stores?
