This version ai is just… it’s incredibly bland. I feel like i can play any story, structured or sandbox, and the characterization just always slips into something default. It eventually always gets to a point where i feel like i’m talking to chatgpt instead of the supposed character. Like every character just devolves into some default “likeable” personality.

It’s not the worst thing, but it’s frustrating because it feels like the ai used to be much better. If this was the best we’ve had so far, while still not being good, i wouldn’t complain, cause i get that some things take a while, but when it gets worse and it’s kinda difficult to get info on when/if it will get better, it’s a bit disappointing (i know the discord gets news faster, but i hopped on for a second a while ago just to skim for if there’s news and stuff and didn’t find anything. I could just be blind though)

Since there are many that spends money on turns to play these stories. It feels wrong that it can just be permanently deleted and fully gone. Couldn’t there be a feature like on ao3 where an author can delete their profile from a fic, but the fic is still up? Except for glimmer it wouldn’t be optional because again, people are spending actual money on these stories.

Is this something that could be implemented in the future? Like when an author deletes their story, their username as the author of the story and whatever comments was made is changed into “anonymous” or something. the story simply doesn’t show up when searched for and becomes unplayable but it’s at least archived for those that have playthroughs on it?

My mc is consistently described as pale, so much so that i even wrote in my description of them ‘not pale’ in parentheses and it still did it. Is this a v3 thing? Or is it maybe the authors having added something subconsciously that makes the ai describe their skin as pale even when explicitly stated as otherwise?
