I've bought 4 different ceiling fans in the last year and every one of them starts doing the random ticking after like 1 months of regular use. Is that just how ceiling fans are now? No one makes one that's just quiet?

For clarity: every one of them ran silent at install. No hum, no tick, no clicking, just quiet whoosh of air moving.

But no matter the brand (Hampton Bay and Harbor Breeze mostly what I've tried, but different models), each one starts doing random, non-rhythmic ticking sounds after a month or two. I am getting so fed up, I feel like I'm the one who's crazy for thinking a fan should run quietly. Is this just how all fans run?
