God reminders
Had a crisis of faith with my mom’s diagnosis. God found a way to give me this message and I hope this can help someone else. Sharing here.
THIS IS A REMINDER FOR THE GIRL WHO FEELS LIKE HER FAITH HAS BEEN TESTED FROM EVERY DIRECTION. ❤️ “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.” — Hebrews 10:35 KJV Girl, cast not away thy confidence simply because the season became difficult. Do not surrender your faith because the answer tarried. Do not allow one disappointment to make you question every promise God has already spoken over your life. Do not let a closed door convince you that heaven has gone silent. There are seasons when God will require you to stand when nothing around you appears to be moving. Seasons where you must believe before you see, pray before you understand, and remain steadfast when your natural eyes can find no evidence that anything is changing. That is where confidence in God becomes more than words. It becomes endurance. It becomes obedience. It becomes faith that refuses to bow. The devil would love to use delay to weaken your spirit. He would love to whisper that you waited for nothing, prayed for nothing, believed for nothing, and hoped for nothing. But hear this clearly: A DELAY IS NOT A DENIAL FROM GOD. The absence of visible movement does not mean the absence of divine movement. There are things being arranged that you cannot see. There are doors being prepared that you have not reached yet. There are prayers being answered in ways that have not yet entered your understanding. So do not cast away thy confidence. Do not throw away the faith that carried you through the last storm just because this one feels different. Remember who God has already been to you. Remember the nights He sustained you when your strength was gone. Remember the doors He shut that later proved to be protection. Remember the moments He made a way when you could not see one. Remember how many times you thought you had reached the end, only to discover that God was still writing. Your confidence cannot be rooted in whether life feels easy. It must be rooted in the faithfulness of God. When the devil says, “Give up,” let your spirit answer, “I shall yet believe.” When fear says, “It is taking too long,” answer, “My times are in His hand.” When disappointment says, “Maybe it was never meant for me,” answer, “What God hath appointed shall come forth in due season.” Stand therefore. Remain steadfast. Guard your faith. Do not become weary simply because the reward has not yet appeared. Some of the greatest things God will do in your life will require you to trust Him through a season where you cannot trace Him. You may not understand the waiting. You may not understand the silence. You may not understand why the road became harder after you prayed. But you do not have to understand everything in order to remain faithful. Cast not away thy confidence, girl. There is still reward attached to your endurance. There is still purpose in your waiting. There is still strength being formed in you. And there is still a God above you who has not forgotten one prayer, one tear, one sacrifice, or one act of faith. Stand firm. Hold fast. Believe still. Because what God is preparing may require the very confidence the devil has been trying so hard to steal. ❤️
