Struggling senior.
Good day everyone, I (64f) really need financial help until my husbands (65m) Social security is granted. If only this community could assist me with a couple of dollars each, I'm sure I can catch up on my mortgage, utilities and medical bills. Here's my situation, my husband, who was the bread winner of our family had an major stroke that left him with brain damage. He lost the ability to talk, write and walk without help. We dig have life insurance and critical accident insurance but both claims are not paying because he did not pass away. His employer fired him while he was still on medical leave and they do not return our calls or texts. . We've applied for cash and food assistance but we were denied. We live on food boxes now. Our little extented family has helped but they too have responsibilities and can not continue to assist us financially. Myself, I'm on disability due to my kidney failing and chronic migraine disease. I'm, my husband full time caregiver. Most days, both of us are just laying in bed all day bc we both can't move due my chronic pain or his trouble with balance due to him being slightly paralyzed on his right side. We are living off my SSD now which is not enough to live on, yes, it's something and very grateful. I'm from an older generation who have trouble asking for help but I'm humbled. I need help and I'm asking if you could send me a few dollars so I can catch up with my responsibilities or soon, we'll also be homeless. I'll send you a Thank you note and prayers in return. Please help us struggling seniors.
