Pixel watch 4; What is the back cover made of?

I really want a pixel watch but I unfortunately have a metal allergy. The pixel 3 is definitely metal but when I went to look at them today the pixel 4 seemed to have a clear coat or glass on the back?

I can't find a definitive answer about this, thank you.
