Killers killed by the Chicago police.

Okay this is not something that happens often enough: killers killed by the Chicago police. PersonA kills PersonB, then PersonA is killed by CPD. But this collage is structured as PersonB is killed by PersonA, then PersonA killed by CPD. Illinois got rid of the death penalty in 2011, so this is the next closest thing. Since 1970, 6 people from Cook County were given the death penalty (12 altogether in Illinois). I also included a 3rd category of those that suicided from a standoff with CPD and such. Suicide stats are counted separately.

Who's buying it now that it hit the almost-yearly low?

Bought 500 shares today. Seems like this company is doing a lot better than DOMO.

Chicago police shoots 2 in Country Club Hills, IL.

Sun Times confirms it was CPD: In a notification sent to members of the Chicago Police Department Tuesday night, the department said two suspects were shot by a CPD [...].

According to CBS Chicago: Police sources tell CBS News Chicago that 2 people were shot and that 2 people were in custody, while 2 others remain on the loose.

Note that, the farthest south CPD has ever killed someone is a tie between 3 places along 171st street. Specifically 171st/Kedzie, 171st/Damen, and 171st/Torrence (2600 E.). Also, in 2025, CPD set a new record for killing someone in Hammond, IN, which is the most east.

So, of the 2 people shot, a new record for the most south will be set if any of them die.

I don't keep track of people that were shot at by CPD and missed, but in the 1970s or 1980s, I recall 3 off-duty CPD driving through Country Club Hills shot at someone and missed, then arrested him, so CPD did have the opportunity to kill someone in Country Club Hills heh.

Also, in 2025, CPD killed 8 people not counting themselves. This year is almost halfway over, and so far, CPD killed 1 person so far.
