Lawyer to Pilot in Air Force Reserves?
Hi all,
I'm a 26m recent graduate from law school and have a decent job lined up (not big law but also not government; hours will be somewhere between the two) but I've been interested in flying for a while and was wondering if it was possible to join the AF reserves to become a pilot as someone who hasn't served before?
I've done some research online and understand that I would need to be directly hired by a unit. I also understand that to be competitive it's recommended to have a number of flying hours already under my belt. I was just wondering if anyone had experience doing the same thing, how hard it is to find a unit that will accept a non-prior, and what advice you all may have?
Thanks.
