Not beading but beading adjacent question
So my son’s medallion is almost finished but I still need to do the necklace part. I don’t have time to do a bead wrapped one since I still have to do his feather and make my skirt. I was planning on doing a leather cord braided one but I’ve never done that before. Question for anybody who has, how do you attach the braided cord to the back of the medallion?

What my son wants me to bead for his graduation.
Should I add the white splotches? I’m not sure if I want to because if I add them they won’t look like splotches, they’ll look like spots.

I’ve finished 7 so far, still a long way off and I’ll be heartbroken if I don’t get one to every kid. I need to get my son’s stuff done though, I already feel awful that I won’t have time to do his grad cap
