I watched this movie around 2014 on netflix, it was a 2D movie and i remember that most of the movie's color pallate was red and black. It is set in japan, but not an anime, and it is about a female cop and her kid. I remember there was a mobster and at one point in the movie he was portrayed as kind of a demon or monster. I don't know the time frame from when it was released, as the details are pretty sparse in my mind.
