Looking for advice/Navier Stokes problems help
Hi everyone, for context I am in my 3rd year for my Mechanical Engineering B.S. currently enrolled in Fluid dynamics and I cannot wrap my head around Navier Stokes problems or even really how to understand the equation itself.
My professor said that he can only really give us Couette-Flow type of problems, so I have been looking for like "The organic chemistry tutor" type of videos to help explain this kind of stuff to me, and I have not been able to find anything good or relevant. We only spent a week on it in lecture and now we're doing fluid kinematics which ive barely spent alot of time on either because I am still trying to make sure I am good with Navier-Stokes.
Does anyone have any good suggestions for those type of explanation videos? I would really appreciate it! 🙏
I'm also enrolled in dynamic systems, linear algebra, and calc 3, I just spent a couple days catching up on linear and calc 3, now I'm behind in systems and fluids, it's kind of been like an endless back and fourth all semester where, when I'm caught up on one side, I'm behind on the other. So if anyone has any tips for not getting stressed with all of these, I would also really appreciate it!
Also, I know it's a little different for someone to be taking calc 3 in their 3rd year like this, my sequencing got a little messed up due to a bad first semester, and I have taken Calc 1-2, diff eqs, with A's and B's in both, now taking calc 3 and linear which I hope to land A's in as well. I don't think I'm struggling with fluids because of that though. Fluids being a beast of a class seems to be a sort of universal thing.
Thank you for everyone's time!
