For those who have broken their ankle.
Compression socks are a game changer! I struggle with keeping my boot clean and my foot. I had a month of built up dead skin and started to clean it with a washcloth over my bandage where my incision is. I just got a compression sock today as a recommendation and let me tell you it is SO much easier than an ace bandage! I was told it helps wick away moisture so you don’t get your skin and boot as dirty and stinky. This is my first bone break so please don’t be too harsh. The more you know!
