What should I expect myself to spend money on as an incoming freshman at jmu and how much should I save up?

Everyone says I should save up alot of money for college, but Ik that there’s not much to do outside of campus so I’m honestly not sure what I’m gonna be spending my money on 😭

laptop died halfway through the ALEKS test

what do I dooo? I plugged in my laptop and this is what showed up on my screen when I opened it. It won’t let me leave the lockdown browser until I’ve completed the assignment but nothings showing and idk what to do.
