Parents wearing merch
Hi what’s the appropriate amount for parents to wear merch in everyday life? Should I stick with a bumper sticker? When my daughter wore her hat she met someone everyday this summer haha

I’m wondering what some solutions are for this gap because of the corner bump out? and is this in every McCormick road dorm room? I’ve seen head board as well as people attaching a shelf with L brackets and zip ties to fill the gap. What do you recommend and does anyone know the dimensions of this space? Thank you so much!
I have never worked in a classroom with children only choosing work or materials that they’ve had a lesson on. There are definitely times when we ask first years not to take out chains for example or help them to modify a work to make it more appropriate. My current school is set up in a house and one of the biggest challenges is that each space has a lead and no “assistant” or tone keeper.
How do you “enforce” that the children do not use work that they haven’t yet been presented without there being constant negativity/conflict/ redirection.
How do you do this while also honoring the child’s interests and allowing them to explore and flow naturally and intuitively? And what wording do you use? I wouldn’t like to say “that’s a third year work” or for “ older kids”…
Hi, I’m trying to figure out the best way to travel and have my daughter travel home. From cape cod/boston. I thought the Amtrak would be good but it doesn’t seem the timing is great, same for greyhound. If she flies direct instead of from DC it would be close to 1,500 round trip.
Any tips would be appreciated!
The drive would be 12 hrs from where we are and significantly cheaper but I would need to rent a car and she cannot because of her age.
Hi I’ll be traveling from DCA to Charlottesville in Aug dropping my kid off at UVA- fly in 17th and drop off 20th.
I want to bring her to ikea ( or other good places?) on the way and get dorm supplies further out so it’s easier.
These will be my last few days with her and I’m feeling pretty heartbroken and want to make it fun and good memories.
ANYWAY. I’m looking for recommendations on fun things to do/ places to stay between the two places for the couple days. We are moving from a beach town and she’s def nervous about being able to swim down there so I was thinking possibly a lake but open to anything.
She loves nature and doesn’t really care about shopping, history or “entertainment”. She likes Busch gardens but doesn’t express interest in going back, but maybe something like that. She likes quaint/charming areas.
I’m open to anything- I don’t have a huge budget though I do want it to be special.

Hi!! I’d like help with the first two pics- fixing our hair- I’d like to have my bangs down, not flying all over - 3rd pic for reference- crows feet softened and teeth a bit whitened. My daughters hair neatened, acne softened and dress not blown between her legs!! Thank you!
Hi. I’d like to try and class up my look and be less trendy. I’m 40 and live in an extremely wealthy area. With this said the location and my lifestyle are very casual and naturey. Anyway I’ve got some cashmere tops which I feel like could elevate my look.
I mostly wear AE jeans and sweaters with Chelsea boots or a brown leather sneaker. Or leggings yoga/walking clothes. And in summer mostly sundresses and sometimes Jean shorts.
Also with all of this said I would say a motivator is trying to date and needing / wanting to date a man of a different economic background.
I feel like I need some pants that aren’t jeans - help?
